A scan to look in detail at the size, shape, and form of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the volume of the prostate. This scan applies to males, especially those over 60. It can be useful to ascertain potential causes of bladder concerns, problems with pain caused by obstructions or stones, effects of urinary tract infections (UTI), and possible changes to the size of the prostate gland. Ultrasound is non-invasive and can provide a highly accurate glimpse into real-time diagnoses to enable a fast and efficient diagnosis to prevent further or continued worries.
