You can choose from one of our clinics across the North, which are all well equipped with state-of-the-art systems and run by a professional team of sonographers, all fully qualified, experienced, and regulated to give you the best treatment you deserve.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- You will be asked to lay on the couch, expose your abdomen, and following this a hypoallergenic gel will be applied to the area. You may be asked to remain on your back, lay on your side or take a deep breath and hold your breath for a brief amount of time. If required, you will be asked to go to the bathroom and empty your bladder to assess the post-void measurements.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR SCAN
- Consider opting for loose-fitting clothing for easy access to the correct area.
How quickly will I receive my scan images and report?
At the time of your scan the sonographer will discuss any findings and recommendations with you, followed by a detailed medical report sent directly to you within 24 -72 hours sent directly to you.
Will I be seen by a qualified sonographer?
Yes, all of our sonographers are fully qualified professionals.
Do I need a medical referral to go ahead with a scan?
No, we accept self-referral patients. However, if you have a private medical referral for a scan, we can accept this.
