WHAT TO EXPECT
- Depending on the area that we are scanning, you may be asked to take off items of clothing to expose the area. You may be asked to lay or sit on the coach and a hypoallergenic gel will be applied. You may be asked to hold your breath, bend your leg, or tighten muscles briefly to assess blood flow changes.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR SCAN
- Wear loose-fitting clothing for easy access to the area.
How quickly will I receive my scan report?
At the time of your scan the sonographer will discuss any findings and recommendations with you, followed by a detailed medical report sent directly to you within 24 -72 hours sent directly to you.
Will I be seen by a qualified sonographer?
Yes all of our sonographers are fully qualified professionals.
Do I need a medical referral to go ahead with a scan?
No, we accept self-referral patients. However, if you have a private medical referral for a scan we can accept this.
